ABOUT ABOUT
Join us on Saturday, March 10th at Sky Hi for a Wine College & Tasting beginning at 4:00pm!

Enjoy 3 White Wines, 3 Red Wines and a delicious Appetizer.

We'll kick it off with the White Wines...

Emeri Pink Moscato (South Eastern Australia)
De Bortoli has developed this into an exciting little sweet spritzy sparkler that is simple yet effective. A pale pink in colour, with ripe fresh fruits dominating the light (eight per cent alcohol) palate and lovely hints of strawberries, fresh blossom, musk and spice aromas on the nose.

Darcie Kent Gruner Veltliner (California)
One of the few Californian Grüner Veltliners. Grüner Veltliners is an indigenous white grape from Austria. This wine has a nice nose of lime with just a hint of white fruits that opens on the palate with a thirst quenching and food friendly burst...

Paul Anheiser Blanc de Noir (White Pinot Noir – Germany)
This rare wine (white pinot noir) from Paul Anheuser is mostly dry but it still seems to have a little residual sugar on the finish. It is a Riesling-style white pinot -- a special taste indeed!

Break & Appetizers!

And we'll conclude with the Red Wines...

Terlator Chapoutier Shiraz-Viognier (Australia)
A spicy Shiraz from the vineyards of Central Victoria brightens with a boost of Viognier for aroma and balance, as often practiced in France’s most highly regarded appellation of the Northern Rhone Valley, Côte Rôtie.

Truffle Merlot (California)
Hints of cherry and truffle will arouse the taste buds, bringing an air of passion to the bouquet of this euphoric wine. Truffle Merlot is a velvety tribute to the most seductive of tastes; the rich decadence of dark chocolate infused with the silky, full-bodied elegance of fine Monterey Merlot.

Paringa Sparkling Shiraz (South Australia)
The juice is Paringa Shiraz with bubbles and a dosage. It's dark, rich, and juicy - full of fruit flavor and bubbles. It is gorgeous to look at and surprisingly complex and stunning to drink.

These wines were hand selected by Sky Hi for your tasting pleasure. We will be tasting and comparing each varietal. The wine education and tasting is sponsored by Anna Thrash with Major Brands. There is no purchase requirement. We will have the wines that you will be tasting available for purchase.

You can purchase your tickets through TicketLeap for just $10 each with a $1 processing fee. We are limiting this event to 50 participants.

If you attend six wine tastings and write a one page paper on your favorite wine, you will get to graduate from the Columbia Wine College! By graduating, you will receive a diploma, your name on our graduate plaque and a $25 gift certificate. We look forward to having you participate in our wine tastings

Cheers!
